A World of Warcraft Trade Skill Specialization for Druids

This specialization is best suited for druids who have trained the restoration talents most effectively and intend to serve their groups as a healer.

Tribal leather working is one of the 3 trade skill specializations available to in World of Warcraft players. Both Horde and alliance characters must complete a series of quests which will allow a player to do another quest that allows the character to learn tribal leather working.

The prerequisite quests are long if a leather worker insists on making the items by himself, but the items may be purchased from the auction house for the World of Warcraft player who is short on time.

The Alliance Tribal Leather Working Prerequisite Quests

The Alliance tribal leather working quests start in the Night Elf village of Feathermoon. The NPC that starts these quests near the dock in Feathermoon, not far from the gryphon flight path NPC. Talk to the leather working goods vendor to begin the alliance quests that give a player access to the final tribal leather working quest. Once all the prerequisite quests are done the player then must head to the smaller night elf village near the Thousand Needles zone in Feralas to do the final turn ins and to learn new tribal leather working patterns.

The Horde Tribal Leather Working Prerequisite Quest

The Horde quest requires the same items that the alliance version of the tribal leatherworking quest.. A Horde character the must visit the horde community of Camp Mojache in the center of Feralas. The series of quests are given by Jangdor and require player to make a trip to Thunder Bluff. Once the prerequisite quest is completed, horde players who wish to further there tribal leather working career will report to Se'jib in Stranglethorn Vale to do the final turn and to learn new patterns for this specialization.

What's Required

Horde and Alliance players need to make the same items to learn the tribal leather working specialization. A World of Warcraft player who wants to pick up this specialization may make the items himself, or the required armor pieces may be purchased from an auction house. Given the amount of materials required to make the quest items, the tribal leather working candidate who wishes to save time should purchase the necessary armor pieces. The wild leather items that will unlock the actual quest when handed into the final NPC are:

The items for the final quest are the same for both horde or alliance characters. The quest NPC will inform the character that by learning tribal leather working he agrees never to learn the dragon scale or leather working specializations. The player wishing to learn tribal leather working then hands in the wild leather vest and helmet in his inventory.

Tribal Leather Working Considerations

The patterns for tribal leather working are best suited to druids who specialized in restoration. Elemental and Dragonscale leather working are of benefit to other character types in the game.
