World of Warcraft Hallow's End Achievement GuideHow To Earn All The WoW Halloween Achievements
Every year around Halloween, Blizzard begins the Hallow's End event in World of Warcraft. For those who love to earn every achievement, this is an event not to miss.
The World of Warcraft Hallow's End event is one that is looked forward to every year by the players in Azeroth. The event features silly tricks, plenty of treats, costumes, a group boss to kill, and many other rewards. In addition, Blizzard themes many areas to match the Halloween style. There are many achievements to earn this year in the 2009 Halloween Hallow's End event. Some of them are more difficult than others, and this handy guide will assist players in achieving them all. They range from silly to serious, and are both solo and group based. Silly Achievements Trick or Treat - Players should visit inns throughout Azeroth and talk to the Innkeepers that reside within. The Innkeepers will provide either a trick or a treat at random. This achievement requires the player to earn a Handful of Candy, which should not take to long to receive. Players can only trick or treat once per hour. Out With It - This achievement requires players to eat as much of the candy as possible that they have earned by talking to various Innkeepers. Once the candy is clicked on enough times, the player will end up with a "Upset Tummy" debuff and this achievement. That Sparkling Smile - Occasionally, an Innkeeper will provide a toothpick from trick or treating. A player has to simply use this toothpick and will earn this achievement. PVP AchievementsG.N.E.R.D. Rage - This achievement is a bit more difficult, and requires a player to click on a G.N.E.R.D. which is a variation of candy that can be earned by trick or treating. This candy will give the player a debuff, and the achievement requires them to kill 50 members of the opposing faction while this debuff is active. Headless Horseman Achievements:Bring Me the Head Of ...Oh Wait - The Headless Horseman lives in the Scarlet Monastery and has been upgraded to level 80 this year. He requires a full group to kill him, and can be summoned once per day per player. This achievement simply requires that he be killed once. The Savior of Hallow's End - Once per hour, the Headless Horseman will attack one of the starting zones. The Orphan Matrons will provide the quest needed to put out the fires and earn the achievement. Check Your Head- The Headless Horseman regularly drops the Weighted Jack-o-Lantern head needed for this achievement. Clicking on the Jack-o-Lantern head with someone targetted will throw it at the player. Sinister Calling - One of the most difficult achievements of Hallow's End, this requires you to loot the Sinister Squashling and Hallowed Helm from the Headless Horseman. General Halloween Achievements:Tricks and Treats of Azeroth - Once a player talks to every Innkeeper listed in the achievement, they will earn this. This achievement requires a great deal of exploration, but is quite simple. The Masquerade - The Innkeepers will also give players wands that can be used to transform other people into various Halloween themed creatures. This achievement requires players to ask others to use their wand on them to allow them to wear all the costumes. Rotten Hallow - There are quests available in Hillsbrad Foothills that once completed will allow this achievement to be earned. The quest will differ depending on whether the player is Horde or Alliance. If a World of Warcraft player earns all of these achievements, they will earn the title The Hallowed and be one step closer to earning the What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been achievement which requires players to earn all of the season event achievements. Players only have two weeks to earn all of these achievements before the event ends, so it's important to do them as soon as possible. Some of them require killing the Headless Horseman repeatedly to get the loot and drops that the player needs to get the achievement.
