The following is a roundup of 5 web browser games that push boundaries in one way or another. A quick warning though, most of these probably shouldn't be played at work.
This game falls under the weird, trippy and psychedelic category. You control a smiling flying toaster that shoots rainbows out of its mouth to destroy baddies while "Katamari on the Rocks" plays in the background.
Five Minutes to Kill (Youself)
Although written about previously here, this game deserves another mention. AdultSwim considered the scenario of the office worker who says, "If I have to go to one more meeting, I'm going to kill myself."
Well this game puts that sentiment in action. You've got 5 minutes to avoid a meeting by offing yourself. Look around the office for items that'll help like staplers, paper shredders or just annoy your co-workers enough that they'll do it for you.
You're standing at a bus stop and need to release some gas, but how do this without offending the other fellow at the stop?
This is the challenge presented by Hide the Fart. The instructions are in Korean but it's easy enough to figure out. Pressing the space bar farts (make sure there's a car going by the cover up the noise, smell is apparently a non-issue) and pressing the left arrow key allows you to stifle it, but not for long.
Since it pretty much requires sound, this game is definitely not safe for work, unless your workplace has a great sense of humor.

This game is just plain weird. You control a scribble as it, well, tries to avoid other scribbles. Touching certain elements reveals strange text and there are videos that have little or nothing to do with the game that pop-up.
Some players have dismissed it as a pretentious art project, but figuring out the tricks to various levels can be interesting.
You're holding a knife over your hand. Press space bar to stab, but -- you know -- avoid your fingers. Heavy breathing in the audio attempts to make this scary but it'll probably just be funny for most players.
