A look at each elite skill for the Rogue Primary class of Runes of Magic.
Runes of Magic has the unique ability to have dual classes. In picking a secondary class, it will also affect the elite skills the character will have later. These are the elite skills that are available for the Rogue primary. Rogue/Knight Elite SkillsElites for the Rogue primary/Knight secondary class characters. Armor Breaker – Level 15 – Receive 20% more damage from disarmament. Poison Protection – Level 20 – This skill takes 30 mana and is instant. Activated it will keep the character safe from poison for 20 seconds, plus 1 per upgrade. It has a 120 second cooldown. Lion’s Protection – Level 25 – This skill takes 30 mana and is instant. Physical attacks are upped 1% for 10 minutes, plus 0.18% per upgrade. It has no cooldown time. Holy Light Protection – Level 30 – This skill takes 30 mana, plus 3 per upgrade, and is instant. It will reduce magic damage taken by 1%, plus 1% per upgrade, and it will keep a character free from slow or root effects for 10 seconds. It has a 120 second cooldown. Courageous Guard – Level 35 – This skill takes 100 mana and is instant. It is good for parties up to five and a range of 100. It keeps them free from fear for 8 seconds. It has a three minute cooldown. Rogue/Mage Elite SkillsElites for to the Rogue primary/Mage secondary class characters. Poisonous Trap – Level 15 – This skill takes 30 mana points and is instant. It will create a trap that poisons those trapped for 10 points of poison damage, plus 2 per upgrade, every 2 seconds in a 10 second period. It has a ten second cooldown. Explosive Trap – Level 20 – This skill takes 20 mana points, plus 2 per upgrade, and is instant. It will create a trap that explodes those trapped for 60 points of explosion damage, plus 24 per upgrade. Paralysing Trap – Level 25 – This skill takes 20 mana points and is instant. It will create a trap that will root those trapped for 10 seconds. It has a 20 second cooldown. Magic Breaker – Level 30 – This skill takes 200 mana and is instant. It will take away a negative effect. There is a minute cooldown. Poison Flame – Level 35 – This skill takes 25 energy and is instant. It will be poisonous flames on target that do 20 poison damage every 2 seconds, plus 7.2 damage per upgrade. It lowers casting speed of target by 5% for six seconds, plus 0.6% per upgrade. It has a 12 second cooldown. Rogue/Priest Elite SkillsElites for the Rogue primary/Priest secondary class characters. Quickness Aura – Level 15 – This skill takes 30 mana, plus 3 per upgrade, and is instant. For your party, the rate of dodging increases 2% for 600 seconds, plus 0.2% per upgrade. It has no cooldown. Wound Tear – Level 20 – Increases the wound attack’s critical hit chance by 30. Shadow Walker – Level 25 – Lets a character use during battle the Sneak Attack. It lowers energy cost by 10 and raises cooldown time by 10 seconds. Fearless – Level 30 – This skill costs 40 mana and makes one immune to fear effects for 20 seconds. It has a one minute cooldown. Kick – Level 35 – This skill costs 20 energy and is instant. It gives a shin kick that does 80% damage per second for main hand weapons, plus 4.8% per upgrade. Speed of foe is 10% lower for five seconds, plus 0.8% per upgrade. It has a 15 second cooldown. Rogue/Scout Elite SkillsElites for the Rogue primary/Scout secondary class characters. Deadly Shot – Level 15 –Shot has a higher chance for critical hits increasing it by 30. Slit Throat – Level 20 – Throat attack will silence the foe for four seconds. Energy Thief – Level 25 – This skill takes 20 concentration and is instant. It makes attacks give 20 points of energy for 15 seconds. It has a cooldown of 120 seconds. Battle Master – Level 30 – This skill takes 30 concentration and is instant. It boosts the chance for a critical hit by 1, plus 0.2 per upgrade, and critical damage by 5%, plus 1% per upgrade, for 10 minutes. It has no cooldown time. Substitute – Level 35 – This skill takes 30 concentration and is instant. It puts a substitute out in battles for 20 seconds, plus 1 per upgrade, to take one physical attack instead of the player. It has a one minute cooldown. Rogue/Warrior Elite SkillsElites for to the Rogue primary/Warrior secondary class characters. Throwing Mastery – Level 15 – Throw is able to slow the foe for five seconds. One Hand Axe Mastery – Level 20 – One hand axe damage boosts by 5%, plus 1% per upgrade. Whirlwind Mastery – Level 25 – Whirlwind costs 20 rage cheaper and makes its cooldown 20 seconds shorter. Death’s Touch – Level 30 – This takes 20 rage and is instant. It makes foe’s heals 2% less effective, plus 1% per upgrade, for two seconds, plus 0.2 seconds per upgrade. Poisonous Infection – Level 35 – This skill takes 20 rage and is instant. While poisonous, slash or shadowstab’s bleed effect can poison the foe, giving 12 poison damage every 2 seconds, plus 4.1 per upgrade. It will also do 80% damage per second for main hand weapon, plus 6% per upgrade, to the foe. It has 15 seconds of cooldown. Any of these combinations will maximize any players Rogue skills with elite characteristics.
