A look at each elite skill for the Mage Primary class of Runes of Magic.

Runes of Magic has the unique ability to have dual classes. In picking your secondary class, it will also affect the elite skills you will have later. These are the elite skills that are available for the Mage primary class.

Mage/Rogue Elite Skills

Elites for the Mage primary/Rogue secondary class characters.

Cursed Fangs – Level 15 – This skill takes 30 energy and is instant. It will make curse projectiles making 16 dark damage points, plus 4.8 per upgrade, every 2 seconds. When fang ritual skill is going this is 20 extra damage, plus 5 per upgrade, as well. It has no cooldown.

Kiss of the Vampire – Level 20 – This sill takes 40 mana and is instant. It will make cursed fangs inflict 30 dark damage points, plus 7.5 per upgrade, and restores 30 hit points, plus 6 per upgrade. It has a 60 second cooldown.

Demoralized – Level 25 – This skill takes 30 energy and is instant. It will make the enemy not be able to attack for 6 seconds. There is a 60 second cooldown.

Fang Ritual – Level 30 – This skill takes 30 mana and is instant. It makes the dark damage dealt rise 1%, plus 0.3% per upgrade) for 10 minutes. There is no cooldown.

Distract – Level 35 – This skill takes 70 mana and is instant. It will make a phantasm to confuse your foe, plus the smallest amount of aggro for you for 5 seconds. There is a 2 minute cooldown.

Mage/Scout Elite Skills

Elites for the Mage primary/Scout secondary class characters.

Thunderclap – Level 15 – This skill uses 20 concentration and has a one second cast time. It does magic arrows that roots a target for five seconds. It has a one second cooldown.

Fire Arrow – Level 20 – This skill uses 30 mana and is instant. It has magic attack critical damage increased 3%, plus 0.4% per upgrade, and that the shot skill does more fire damage. There is no cooldown.

Fire Rose – Level 25 – This skill takes 35 mana and is instant. It has a fire rose that damages the foe 8 damage, plus 1.6 per upgrade, every 2 seconds for a total of 12 seconds. There is no cooldown.

Fire Rose Explosion – Level 30 – This skill takes 45 mana and is instant. It makes fire roses ignite to do 60 fire damage, plus 18 per upgrade. It has a 10 second cooldown.

Flame Spirit – Level 35 – This skill takes 250 mana and is instant. It makes flame energy for 40 seconds. It has 180 seconds of cooldown.

Flame of Fire – Level 35 – This skill takes 60 mana and has a two second cast time. It makes 40 fire damage, plus 12 per upgrade. It has no cooldown.

Mage/Warrior Elite Skills

Elites for the Mage primary/Warrior secondary class characters.

Magical Talent – Level 15 – This skill takes 35 rage and is instant. It increases mana max by 50, plus 10 per upgrade, for 300 seconds. No cooldown.

Magical Enlightenment – Level 20 – This skill takes 35 rage and is instant. It regenerates mana every 4 seconds by 10, plus 1 per upgrade, for 300 seconds. No cooldown.

Elemental Explosion – Level 25 – This skill takes 35 rage and is instant. Increases critical damage changes by magic by 2, plus 1.2 per upgrade, for 300 seconds. No cooldown.

Rage Mana – Level 30 – This skill takes 35 rage and is instant. Converts rage to 20 points of mage, plus 20 per upgrade. No cooldown.

Activate Mana – Level 35 – This skill takes 95 mana and is instant. It turns mana into 5 rage points, plus 0.8 per upgrade. No cooldown.

Mage/Knight Elite Skills

Elites for the Mage primary/Knight secondary class characters.

Holy Light Strike – Level 15 -This skill takes 15 mana and has a 2 second cast. Does 35 light damage, plus 14 per upgrade. No cooldown.

Stars of Light – Level 20 – This skill takes 30 mana and is instant. Rains light upon the target, flares exploding each second for five seconds. They do 25 light damage plus 10 per upgrade. There is a 2 second cooldown.

Enhanced Holy Light Strike – Level 25 – Holy Light Strike will now have a 30% chance to stun. No cooldown.

Messenger of Light – Level 30 – This skill takes 30 mana and is instant. When active, light spells are damage increased 5%, plus 1% per upgrade, for 10 minutes. No cooldown.

Light Charge – Level 35 – This skill takes 30 mana and is instant. Inflicts 40 light damage, plus 10 per upgrade, and will slow by 10%, plus 0.5% per upgrade, for 5 seconds. Has an 8 second cooldown.

Mage/Priest Elite Skills

Elites for the Mage primary/Priest secondary class characters.

Essence of Magic – Level 15 – This skill takes 35 mana and is instant. Magic damage increases 10 points, plus 6 per upgrade, for 1800 seconds. No cooldown.

Purify – Level 20 – This skill takes 150 mana and is instant. Takes away a curse and has a 10 second cooldown.

Outburst – Level 25 – Fireball and Flame skills can do additional damage.

Rising Tide Mastery – Level 30 – Rising Tide now is instant and has 4 second cooldown.

Shrine of Holy Aura – Level 35 – Extra hit point recovery at the cost of 20 mana.

Picking the right secondary helps the character fulfill their gameplay better, knowing the elite skills available can help.
