In the Southern part of the Howling Mountains of Runes of Magic lies Pioneers Colony. When a player first begins a character, it is here that they will start their journey. There will be many starter quests to start the gamer on their path throughout the game, but the bulletin board will hold the “daily quests”. These daily quests are quests that you can do over and over again, to a limit of 10 daily quests a day.
Each day at 9 EST the daily quests will reset and you can redo them. Try to do the daily quests that give the most cash or experience points. Once a quest has been turned back in and finished, the player can pick it up again at the bulletin board. Each daily quest is worth 10 phirius tokens. These tokens can be turned in at the Phirius trader in Varanas and other NPCs (non playable characters) for things like Arcane Transmutor and items in the Cash Shop.
Need More Fungus Stems
This is the first daily quest that will come available on the bulletin board in Pioneers Colony. The gamer will have to kill Fungus and bring back mushroom stems to Leighton. When it is completed the quest will give 57 experience points and 5 talent points. It is worth 59 gold to the newbie player. This starts with a level three character.
Control the Wolf Population
This is the second daily quest that comes available in the Pioneers Colony bulletin board. The gamer needs to kill wolves in the area and bring back wolf cub tails to Leighton. When it is completed the quest will give 79 experience points and 7 talent points. It is worth 94 gold to the lower level character. This will start with a level 4 character.
Reduce the Cave Crab Population
This is the last daily quest that comes available in the Pioneers Colony bulletin board. The gamer will have to go into the Hidden Valley Mine and kill cave crabs or red pincer crabs to gather up 10 cave crab eggs to return to Leighton. When it is completed the quest will give 132 experience points and 13 talent points. It is worth 192 gold to the player. This will start with a level 7 character.
While a player is just starting out, it is in their best interest to complete all ten possible daily quests each day they play so as to start a stockpile of these tokens to get higher end items later on in the game when their character has matured.
