In Dungeons and Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited (DDO), which is developed by Turbine, Inc., players have the ability to play for free. As they play the game, they will gain favor with various factions, which, in turn, will gain them free Turbine points for use in the DDO store.
Ruins of Threnal Adventure Pack for Dungeons and Dragons Online
On September 23, 2009 Turbine, Inc released a new Adventure Pack for DDO. This adventure pack grants players access to a new level 8 to 10 campaign.
This campaign includes a quest series with twelve new adventures and two new combat areas. Combat areas are completely exploreable areas where players will come into combat with monsters and discover new dungeons and quests.
The Story and Content of the Ruins of Threnal
When players enter the area of the Ruins of Threnal, they will be immersed in a story where a group of researchers are exploring an ancient ruin, but all is not quiet. Adventurers are needed to clear out some annoying infestations so they can continue their work.
If players look at the screen shots (which can be found at the bottom of this article) the adventure pack promises a rich experience in runes which are still filled with the power of magic. It'll be up to the players to rid the ruins of the demons and creatures so that the expedition can continue.

How to Buy Adventure Packs
Players can buy new adventures by going into the DDO store, in the game. In the store, they will find many items, such as potions, new adventure packs, all the way to new races and character classes. The items in the DDO store can be bought with Turbine points.
Turbine points can be acquired in two ways. The first way to acquire Turbine points is to buy them with real world money; this can be done with credit card or Paypal. The second way players can gain Turbine points is to play the game.
Every time a player completes a dungeon, they receive favor points for the faction that the dungeon is associated with. (Players will only gain favor points once, and only for the highest difficulty they have completed the dungeon on.)
Then, when a player reached a certain level of favor with the faction, they will gain free Turbine points! Any item bought in the store is delivered to the player's account within seconds.
