Runes of Magic Spells for the Knight Class

All of the listed skills and spells are for either a Knight primary or a Knight secondary character in Runes of Magic.

Knights are currently the only class in Runes of Magic that allows the wearing of plate armor. This extra boost can really secure the Knight as a tank in battles.

Their skills are designed to take agro and to beef up their durability in game. These general knight skills can be used by Knight primary characters and by those that have a Knight as their secondary class.

Knight General Skills, Active

These are all skills that need to be hotkeyed and active to use, they don’t work passively.

  • Holy Strike – A level 1 skill, this needs to be activated and it does 40% damage per second for main hand weapon (plus a 3.2% boost per upgrade). It will also add a light seal to the target for ten seconds.
  • Punishment – A level 1 skill, this also needs activation to work. The skill requires three light seals on a foe, but then will release those seals to do 50 damage (plus an additional 15 per upgrade) and 20 physical damage (plus an additional 2 per upgrade).
  • Disarmament – A level 4 skill, this can be “stacked” to four on a foe by using it over and over in a row. It will do 50% damage per second on main hand weapon (plus an additional 3.5% per upgrade). Disarmament will also downgrade the foe’s armor by 3% for eight seconds.
  • Shield of Atonement – A level 8 skill, it makes the Knight’s shield a weapon that does 20 physical damage (plus an additional 5 damage per upgrade). Foes can’t use common or physical attacks on the Knight for 3 seconds (plus 0.1 second per upgrade). This skill is only usable with equipping a shield.
  • Enhanced Armor – A level 12 skill, it will up the armor stats of the Knight by 5% for 5 minutes (plus 1% for every upgrade).

Knight General Skills, Passive

These are all the skills that work passively and need no activation to have the Knight use them.

  • Defense Technique – A level 16 skill, it will up the rate of parry by 10 (and 3.4 additional points per upgrade).
  • Resilience – A level 20 skill, it will up the total stamina by 10 (and 1 additional point per upgrade).
  • Devotion – A level 24 skill, it will up the total mana points by 30 (and 15 additional points of mana per upgrade).

With passive skills keeping the Knight’s mana, stamina, and ability to parry higher than normal and the range of activated skills, a Knight is a serious PvE or PvP character.
