Abilities in Facebook Online Game Application Vampire Wars increase a character's strength when attacking and defending. Read the full list and unlock them all.

Abilities in Facebook game application Vampire Wars are used during combat when attacking and defending. The amount of abilities used in each category is equal to the number of members in the clan. For example, if a player with 15 clan members attacks someone, 15 offensive abilities, 15 defensive abilities, and 15 movement abilities are all used in combat. The most powerful abilities are used automatically.

Read below for a list of all the abilities in Vampire Wars, with attack and defense stats (--A, --D), and where to find them. Any ability listed as "Elders" was once available for purchase for favor points. Abilities can be also be obtained when attacking rival clans.

Pyrokinesis is the best offensive ability and fairly easy to obtain. At early levels, give numerous gifts to other clan members (they can be small, like Fangs), to receive Pyrokinesis from Vampire Santa. Several of these bad boys will help increase attack strength both early on and later in the game.

Be sure to avoid the nasty upkeep for Wolf Form and Horrific Transformation until enough minions are dominated and earning enough blood that the upkeep is negligable. Make sure to unlock the Crypt locks every day to get the Ironic Annihilations, which are better than Pyrokinesis when defending.

Defensive Abilities

• (10A, 35D) - Raven Spy - Elders
• (9A, 27D) - Blood Shield - Akem's Gamble
• (9A, 20D) - Create Illusion - No longer available (except from fighting)
• (8A, 25D) - Indestructible - "Face a Rival Clan Alone"
• (7A, 12D) - Immaterial - Elders, Akem's Gamble
• (6A, 9D) - Eagle Eyes - "Baba Yaga"
• (5A, 30D) - Winged Guard - Crypt
• (4A, 8D) - Resistance to Sunlight - "Retrieve a Lost Relic from the High Desert"
• (4A, 8D, -400 Upkeep) - Impervious - Bazaar
• (3A, 28D) - Intimidation - Buy at Bazaar (Required skill 1750)
• (3A, 15D) - Immunity to Religious Icons - "Save a Vampire from Hunters"
• (2A, 5D) - Immunity to Silver - "End the Unlife of a Lich"
• (2A, 4D) - Fast Healing - Bazaar

Intimidation is a great ability for boosting defense. When it's available, make sure to pick up as many as possible. But as for offense, Impervious offers one more attack strength and is available fairly early on. Make sure to give Akem's Gamble a shot daily to try and pick up some of the more powerful defensive abilities.

Early on, Fast Healing does the trick just fine until more powerful abilties are unlocked.

• (25A, 25D) - Summon Pale Horse - Akem's Gamble
• (24A, 24D) - Astral Projection - Akem's Gamble
• (17A, 17D) - Dodge Daylight - Crypt
• (15A, 43D) - Spider Climb - Akem's Gamble
• (15A, 14D, -1800 Upkeep) - Flight - Buy at Bazaar
• (12A, 10D) - Cat's Grace - "Baba Yaga"
• (10A, 12D) - Mist Form - Bazaar
• (6A, 7D, -200 Upkeep) - Bat Form - Bazaar
• (4A, 6D, -100 Upkeep) - Gliding - Bazaar
• (4A, 5D, -50 Upkeep) - Vertical Ascension - Bazaar
• (3A, 3D, -20 Upkeep) - Unearthly Reflexes - Bazaar
• (1A, 1D, -15 Upkeep) - Inhuman Speed - Bazaar

Avoid buying too many Movement Abilities right away - be sure a steady bloodflow is achieved through many minions before taking on burdensome upkeeps.

When blood is no longer an issue, purchase as many powerful movement abilities as necessary. The best movement ability overall is Move Silently, but it isn't available until a 2000 skill is earned.

Before then, use Akem's Gamble and the Crypt to unlock decent abilities. Baba Yaga is also good for Cat's Grace, but she takes quite a beating before going down and the item drops aren't too frequent.

Abilities are a fundamental aspect to success in Vampire Wars. Collect them all just for fun, or cherry-pick the powerful ones to gain strength.

premonition, shadow conceal or bloodletting are gifts but you can send them to others yourself by joining the vampires mailing list, anyways unholy incantation isnt any longer available and regeneration will be there for a long time since nobody buys it because it is bad

Has anyone seen this free energy refill thing they started today? It doesn't seem to work just yet, but the notification is there...click on it and it takes you to the Elder's tab but gives you no option to refill it...Mafia Wars offers an energy boost perk too.

I've encountered the Cross Running Water ability and it has (45 Attack/45 Defense). It appears to be the best since it exceeds Move Silently (42 Attack/42 Defense). I only have one for now; I think I've got it by judging my friends. I guess I'll do that more often ^_^

You can gift any ability, even the crap ones like fangs or command rat swarm, and get pyros. I got my 501 pyros by sending rat swarms back and forth with a few 'gift buddy' clan. Send a few dozen, and you'll get at least 4 or 5 pyros. Then the friends can send them back so they can get pyros too.

upkeep is the hourly cost of your abilities. some abilities have upkeep, some dont. The upkeep listed for an ability is for each one you own. So if you have 10 of an ability with an upkeep of 100 then each hour you will lose 1000 blood.

The blood flow is the total of your income from minions minus your upkeep from abilities. If you're negative on blood flow then you need more minions. Buy minions in the bazaar. But when you buy minions always buy them in multiples of 10. Each time you buy a specific minion it's cost goes way, double on some, up so buy the max (10) each time for the best cost efficiency.

Move Silentlies and Intimidations don't show up in the defensive attack report of the players I attack. Move Silentlies don't show up in in the offensive column of the attack report when I attack. Any knowledge about this? I've unlearned them all and replaced them with other abilities.

*TIP* Make sure to spend blood in the bazaar on minions it will increase the blood you get every hour, and it will lower the amount of blood flow in the Negatives you have... I left mine over night and came back to alot of blood which i just spent on more minions... My sister get about 20million blood every hour... don't worry about fast lvling work on that blood first...also do fights COMBAT)to win a fight try fighting someone with the same amount or less clan members...

Control Mall Santas come from Akem's gamble, an ability aquired from a fight won, or if you have real nice clan members, you might be able to talk one of them out of one or trade. More info at:

Red boxes around abilities (shown on your stats page) indicates what type and how many of that particular ability your clan is using for "attack". When you look at another vampires stats, the type and number of abilities their clan is using for "defense" is highlighted.

You want to kick ass? These are my stats (yes, I need more clan...).
Offensive: 1 Heat Vision, 105 Pyrokineses, 11 Superior Horrific Transformations
Defensive: 117 Superior Impervious
Movement: 43 Cross Running Waters, 74 Move Silentlies
Offense: Gift "command rat swarm" to earn pyros. Commandratswarm is pretty much useless. Build up your minions so you can afford upkeep on Superior Horri Trans: 62 Attack/ 58 Defense; Upkeep: -300,000
Defense: Master Impervious to superiority; 38 Attack/46 Defense w/ 48k/hr upkeep.
MOvement: Keep judging clan members every day and get cross running water: 45 Attack/45 Defense; no upkeep! What I do is position my cursor on the screen so when I hit page down with my right hand, I can just click "judge" with my left. It's easy! I don't even look at you freaks!!lol!!!11!!!912e9812u3

Best way of gaining Pyro's....arrange a pong session with another member of your clan, send abilities you have ample of, then have them send them back...the most annoying..when someone just starts sending you things without an arrangement, and never send abilities that take blood upkeep unless they are wanted. Early on choose whether you want to be a fighter, or a leveller, and use your skill points to enhance either rage and health for fighting, or energy for levelling. The game is easy to figure out, but once you hit level 70, better have your 501 in your clan or you'll get spanked, combat changes at 70 and doesn't go back to normal, so choose wisely or you'll lose 75%+ of your skill rank.

Cross running water is easy to obtain for free. Under your Coffin tab, click on judgement. Then judge the three random Avatars over and over. Dont wast wast time giving them them 2 or leaving a message. Just Click JUDGE over and over!!!
