Brewfest achievements like the Brewfest Diet are easy to attain if players are high enough levels. A WoW powerleveling guide can help players reach the right level.

Brewfest, like many World of Warcraft world events, has a series of achievements players can earn during the event. Some achievements, such as Direbrewfest, require players to defeat elite enemies only found in dungeons during the event. Others are “giveaways,” simple tasks that can be accomplished at any level.

The Brewfest Diet

The Brewfest Diet achievement is a “giveaway,” in that a high level character with a little WoW gold to spend can finish the achievement in a few minutes. All the player needs to do is sample all of the Brewfest food offered at the Alliance or Horde Beer Gardens (including the vile-sounding Pickled Sausage).

Lower level players may find that the Brewfest Diet is more difficult to attain. Like other WoW foodstuffs, most Brewfest food requires layers to be at certain levels before the meal can be eaten. The Essential Brewfest Pretzel and Succulent Sausage can be eaten by players of any level, while the Golden Link can only be eaten by characters who’ve reached level 65 or higher.

WoW Powerleveling Guide

Brewfest lasts for two weeks. Players dedicated to a World of Warcraft powerlevel (attaining the highest level in the shortest possible time) can start Brewfest with a level 1 character and hit level 65 or higher before the festival ends. Players who aren’t as experienced may want to consider using a World of Warcraft powerleveling guide, or resign themselves to waiting another year to earn the Brewmaster title.

Spicy Smoked Sausage and Pretzels

The food needed to complete the Brewfest Diet is the same for both the Horde and Alliance factions; unlike the beverages needed for the Strange Brew achievement (the Horde favors Troll and Orc beer, while the Dwarven brewmasters dominate the Alliance Beer Gardens).

Bear in mind that Brewfest food is perishable: it only lasts two days in a character’s backpack. How a Dried Sausage can go off in two days in anyone’s guess, but if a Brewfest meal isn’t consumed within 48 hours it disappears from the player’s backpack.

Brewfest meals include:

  • The Essential Brewfest Pretzel: Eating restores 61 health over 18 seconds and provides a +2 buff to Stamina and Spirit if eaten for at least 10 seconds. Available to all levels.
  • Succulent Sausage: Can be eaten at any level, restoring 874 health over 27 seconds. Provides a +9 Stamina and Spirit buff for 15 minutes if eaten for 10 seconds or more.
  • Spiced Onion Cheese: Eat for 21 seconds to restore 243 health. Eating for more than ten seconds provides a +4 Stamina and Spirit buff that last 15 minutes. Can be consumed at level 5.
  • Dried Sausage: Restores 552 health over 24 seconds. Eat for ten or more seconds and receive a +6 stamina and Spirit buff for 15 minutes. Requires level 15.
  • Savory Sausage: Restores 1,392 health over 30 seconds. Eat for ten seconds to gain +12 Stamina and Spirit buffs with a 15 minute duration. Must be level 35 to eat.
  • Pickled Sausage: Probably tastes as bad as it sounds, buy will restore 2,148 health over the course of thirty seconds. Forcing a character to eat this for ten seconds results in +14 Stamina and Spirit buffs that last for 15 minutes (how long any nausea lasts is debatable).
  • Spicy Smoked Sausage: Eating restores 4,320 health over thirty seconds. Provides a +20 buff to Stamina and Spirit for thirty minutes if character eats for over ten seconds. Level 55 is required to eat this sausage.
  • The Golden Link: The highest level Brewfest meal, requiring level 65 to eat. Restores a whopping 7,500 health over thirty seconds. Eat for ten or more seconds to gain +20 buffs to Stamina and Spirit.

And remember, Pickled Sausage goes down easier if the character can wash it down with some Strange Brew!
