Runes of Magic Spells for the Scout Primary
In Runes of Magic, choosing a scout means mastering a bow and the ranged weapon. While this class is a favorite for dealing with paring down a targets hit points before it reaches the player, there are primary skills given to help with damage and with rooting a target. These class specific skills are able to be used when playing a scout primary, but not while having a scout as a secondary character.
Scout Primary Skills, Level 1-20
These are the skills for the scout primary that are between the levels of 1 and 20.
- Autoshot – Level 1 – This is an instant cast that will fire a ranged weapon then do autoshots.
- Arrow of Essence – Level 1 – This has an instant cast and will increase ranged weapon damage 20% plus increases attack speed 15% for 15 seconds.
- Wind Arrows – Level 2 – This has an instant cast and will give 70% ranged weapon damage per second (plus 4.2% per upgrade).
- Ranged Weapon Mastery – Level 6 – This is a passive skill that increases crossbow/bow accuracy by 3% (plus 0.3% per upgrade) and ups its damage by 3% (plus 0.3% per upgrade).
- Frost Arrow – Level 10 – This has an instant cast and will make wind arrows have a frost effect chance. This lasts for 30 minutes total.
- Mana Drain Shot – Level 12 – This has an instant cast and makes target lose 8 mana (plus 2.4 per upgrade) every second.
- Lasso – Level 14 – This has a one second cast and will root a foe for 10 seconds (plus 0.4 per upgrade).
- Piercing Arrow – Level 18 – This has an instant cast and will fire an arrow at a foe that penetrates and goes through to other targets, getting 65% ranged weapon damage per second (plus 3.9% per level) and 20 damage (plus 3 per upgrade).
- Eagle Eyes – Level 20 – This passive skill will up the chance for critical damage by 5 (pus 2 per upgrade).
- Cripple Joint – Level 20 – This passive skill will give a 55% chance to root with the Joint Blow skill for five seconds.
These lower level skills are designed to increase damage and drain defenses from an opponent.
Scout Primary Skills, Level 22-42
These are the skills for the scout primary that are between the levels of 22 and 42.
- Snipe – Level 22 – This has a four second cast time and will increase the scout’s range by 50 while dealing 200% DPS on ranged weapons (plus 10% per upgrade) along with 100 damage (plus 10 per upgrade).
- Detection – Level 26 – This is an instant cast that makes the scout able to find hidden foes.
- Combo Shot – Level 30 – This is an instant cast that will throw three arrows that do 60% DPS for ranged weapons (plus 3.6% per upgrade).
- Neck Strike – Level 34 – This is an instant cast that will stun a foe for the next six seconds.
- Reflected Shot – Level 36 – This has a three second cast that will do 65% DPS ranged weapon damage (plus 3.9% per upgrade) and bounce to other targets twice.
- Concentration – Level 38 – This is an instant cast and will regenerate focus 100% faster for thirty seconds (plus 1.5 seconds per upgrade).
- Target Area – Level 40 – This has an instant cast and it will increase the scout’s accuracy by 1% (plus 0.2% per upgrade) and it will up the critical damage chance by 5 (plus 1 per upgrade).
- Serenity – Level 42 – This has an instant cast and will reset all the cooldown times for all non class specific spells for a scout.
These higher level spells for a scout will be used for damage and buffing the player to do better in battles.
A scout uses bow and crossbows to deal out ranged damage over time. These class specific skills while not being able to be used by a scout secondary will increase the ability of a scout primary to become a force in the game.
