Runes of Magic spells for the Knight Primary

With the aspect of dual classes available in the Runes of Magic game, players can have a primary class and a secondary class. While all the class skills are available to the primary class that is played, only general skills are available to the secondary class played.
Knights are the class that can have the properties of a priest and a warrior, plus they are the class that is able to wear plate armor in the game. Choosing a knight as a primary or secondary class can have great benefits. These are the skills that are playable with a Knight class as the primary class.
Knight Primary Skills, Level 1-20
These are the knight skills for the primary that are between the levels of 1 and 20.
- Holy Shield – Level 1 – This is an instant cast spell where for five seconds all that are within range and within the party gets a block of all physical damage.
- Holy Seal – Level 2 – This is an instant cast spell where your weapon has holy power where there is light damage and holy seals on target (up to 3).
- Mana Return – Level 2 – This is an instant cast spell where holy seals are activated to give 30 points of mana (plus 6 per upgrade).
- Whirlwind Shield – Level 6 – This is an instant cast spell that gives 40% main hand weapon damage per second with 0.1 times the defense value of the shield as inflictable damage to the target and adds aggro. Shields must be equipped for this to work.
- Shackles of Light, Rank 1 – Level 10 – This is an instant cast spell that roots an enemy for six seconds.
- Resolution – Level 14 – This is an instant cast spell that ups hit point maximum amount by 300 for a minute (plus 30 per upgrade).
- Charge – Level 18 – This is an instant cast spell that makes the player charge a target for 25 points of damage (plus 6 per upgrade) and 2 seconds of stun (plus 0.08 per upgrade).
- Threaten – Level 20 – This is an instant cast spell where holy seals are activate to increase the aggro by 20% (plus 2% per upgrade) for a total of eight seconds.
These lower level primary skills are designed to keep a knight alive and up his/her damage potential.
Knight Primary Skills, Level 22-42
These are the knight skills for the primary that are between the levels of 22 and 42.
- Shield Mastery – Level 22 – This is a passive skill that will up the stats of a shield’s armor by 5% (plus 1% per upgrade). Shields must be equipped for this to work.
- Plate Ability – Level 24 – Another passive skill, this one makes the player able to wear plate armor.
- Shield of Valor – Level 26 – This is an instant cast spell that makes the shield resist up to a max of 5% physical attacks (plus 0.3% per upgrade) for fifteen seconds. Shields must be equipped for this to work.
- Shield of Truth – Level 28 – This is an instant cast spell that makes the shield immune to stun effects for fifteen seconds. Shields must be equipped for this to work.
- Shock – Level 30 – This is an instant cast spell that will deal 20 light damage (plus 4 per upgrade) and activate a light seal on target that gives 1 second of stun.
- Shackles of Light, Rank 2 – Level 32 – This is an instant cast spell that roots two opponents for a total of six seconds.
- Hatred Strike – Level 34 – This is an instant cast spell that increases attack aggro by 10% (plus 1% per upgrade) for fifteen seconds.
- Shield of Discipline – Level 36 – This is an instant cast spell that lets a shield absorb 5% magical damage (plus 1% per upgrade) for thirty seconds. Also gives 100 light damage to the spellcaster that is attacking. Shields must be equipped for this to work.
- Shackles of Light, Rank 3 – Level 40 – This is an instant cast spell that roots three foes for six seconds.
- Hall of Dead Heroes – Level 42 – This is an instant cast spell that gives members of your group a 30 second resistance to up to 800 damage and increases their movement by 10% on the event of your death. Good for 10 minutes.
These higher skills give extra defense, more fighting power, and more group benefits for those that raid.
The way that Runes of Magic is designed, classes are not just an after thought. The class chosen as a secondary can have its general skills used by the primary class and it will affect the elite skills that the character will be able to choose later on. Choose well, choose wisely.
